How to Develop Your Faith!!
There are four main ways to develop your faith in Christ and to strengthen your walk with Him.
1. Prayer- The Bible says in James 5:16b..."the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." Also, in Philippians 4:6 "Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." Take time to pray every day.
2. Bible Reading & Study-The Lord says in His Word in 2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." Below is a Daily Bible Reading Chart that will take you through the entire Bible in a year.
3. Worship- The Bible says in Hebrews 10:25 says "Forsake not the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much more, as ye see the day approaching." If you are not hindered by sickness or some other ailment it is your obligation as a Christian to be in Church on Sundays and whenever else the church happens to meet. Attend a Bible believeing, New Testament church. We gain so much help by going to church and taking our families to church.
4. Witness- Matthew 28:18-20 contains the Great Commission where we are told by our Lord that we are to "go into all the world". We start where we are and then work our way out with the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. We witness not just by our words, but by the way we live our lives on a daily basis.
